October 2010 Meeting Minutes

Meeting commenced at 7pm.

In attendance: Larry, Tom, Dick, Jay, Jimmy, Pat, Louie and sneaking in just before the bell: Bob and Sue

*Secretaries Report read and accepted. First Article for Snotraveler submitted on August 23.

*Treasurers report: read and accepted. Very little $ incoming and quite a lot going out. Paid for groomer registrations, building materials, fencing, stakes, stamps, our annual meeting location dues. Despite being not treasurer Dicks fav. Time of year..he has us on a good plane, and membership dues should start to come in soon.

*Trails report: 2 bridges re-decked, brushing started..much more needed on all trails. Heavy going. The summer grant was approved. Tom and Larry donned their muck-lucks and GPS in hand.. did some heavy research for a possible re-route of Pollys trail. There is one possibility but it will entail a large effort if needed. We are still pondering action. Or not.

Voted on a $200 donation to Kingswood GC for our annual repair/use fee.$  Well spent.

Voted $100 donation to NH Preservation of Forests.

Discussed some future possible land issues including a pending foreclosure on a large tract.

Discussed the pros/cons of printing a new map, and it was decided we would have a new map printed and re-up or replace the existing ads.

Upon no further business new or old, victories or lost battles to discuss.. the meeting was adjourned at 8:30pm.
